Ejections

Gulf War POWs

                                         5th Allied POW  Squadron

The Gulf War 1991

During the Gulf Conflict aircrew from Coalition Forces ejected over enemy territory in a manner echoing the Vietnam War. It is with respect and in memory of those who returned and those that did not that the following section of this website is dedicated.

At the cessation of hostilities POWs returned home. In recognition of their status the 5th Allied POW Squadron was formed, similar to the 4th Allied POW Wing at the end of the Vietnam War

Not every one of  them returned at the end of hostilities.
