Laurie Lengyel and Captain Glenn Myers were flying an RF4-C Phantom II (photo reconnaissance) out of Tan Son Nhut Air Base, South Vietnam. They were shot down by 100 MM AA near Dong Hoi on a combat mission on August 9th, 1967.
