| Two Saudi fighter planes crash; pilots bail out to safety Riyadh, 6 February: An official source at Defence and Aviation Ministry told Saudi Press Agency that two Saudi Royal Air Force Hawk training planes of the Saudi Hawks Squadron crashed during training in the northwest region on Wednesday 23 Dhu al-Qi'dah, 1422 Hegira, corresponding to 6 February 2002. The two planes crashed because they touched while performing some difficult and dangerous air manoeuvres. The manouevres were similar to performances which citizens see in summer... | ||||||||
