The postcard has always been a popular form of communication, not only of messages on their reverse but also on their front. Flying has been a very topical subject since the earliest days of the twentieth century. Over the coming months I'll be uploading some of the images that the public were presented with around the world. I'll leave it up to you to interpret what the artist intended.
