Zhao Baotong of the PLAAF 3rd Air Division was China's leading ace in the Korean War. He shot down seven United Nations aircraft and damaged two others. On the 2nd December, 1951 he claimed two UN F-86 fighters and was himself shot down in combat. He successfully ejected from his burning aircraft. | |
