Goleniów was flying a Polish Air Force MiG-21pfm(SPS). At some time
between 9-10:00am a technical problem occurred with the aircraft's
engine. Lt. Kalicki made the decision to eject using the Russian
designed KM-1 while in horizontal flight at a height of 192 metres and a
speed of 290km/h., conditions clouds 2/8 700/400 visibility 6km.
He landed in a wooded area some 3,900 metres from the perimeter of
Goleniów airport
