Military plane goes down in Malatya:

  Two pilots of an F-4 jet that crashed yesterday in the eastern Anatolian city of Malatya due to a technical malfunction were rescued without injury, reported news agencies.

  The Turkish Air Forces Command released a written announcement saying that the plane crashed at 4:30 p.m. in an uninhabited region north of Malatya, some 659 kilometers southeast of Ankara, during a training flight, due to technical failure.

  An investigation is under way to determine the exact cause of the accident, said the command.
