"I would love to get in touch with anyone he knew from his days in the IRAF or even better had pictures of him, as to my knowledge all but 3 of his pictures where burned when his house was bombed in the Iran Iraq war.

It would have meant a lot to my father to see a record of something he was a part of on the Internet.

"Sometime in 1972 while I was stationed at Langley AFB, Virginia, flying C-130s, a UPT classmate and T-38 instructor pilot RON'd at Langley and we got together for a drink, etc. That's when I found out Hadi had been killed in an F-4 accident in Iran. As I recall, the Air Force had made inquiries to former instructors and fellow graduates about Hadi's performance, etc. in pilot training, probably as a routine part of their accident investigation. The only thing I was told was that the airplane flew into a mountain, but whether there was any ejection I have no clue."

Lt. Hadi Mahmoudi, he was flying from Shiraz in a flight of four F-4s in a road-reconnaissance mission,which is flying very low above the road in high speed and always in S-turn so you can stay behind a car on the road,It is thought they were in a steep bank and their wing-tip touched the ground and as the A/C was rolling over they ejected but because A/C was not in up-right position they did not survive

In the first week of war two IRIAF F-4E's took off to attack Iraqi ground forces and their central Artillery.
The wingman jet was piloted by Captain Mohammad Yousef Ahmadbeygi and RIO nicknamed as Uncle (Daie)

They attacked the Iraqis and when the wing man at this time saw that a missile is coming right on his way...the left wing of their jet was hit....

Ahmadbeygi: Daie,dont eject, dont do that. We are hit and badly damaged, fuel on zero, engine temp on zero, Hydraulics damaged, but it's look like that the engines are better than a minute ago.

The jet was escorted by two F-4E's to AFB and the leader jet was piloted by Dezful AFB Commander

Captain Daryush and RIO Alidadi were flying in an as part of mission on an attack on Baghdad. Eight F-4s including photo-reconnaissance RF-4E found the city heavily defended and were forced to terminated the mission. With his aircraft low on fuel, Yazdanfar released their bomb load over open ground and returned to Iranian air space. As the aircraft approached Kermanshah City Airport the aircraft became uncontrollable and the two crew ejected.

There is one mistake in Iran F-4s losses & ejected page:
In the 28th September 1980 , F-4 which directed by Maj. khadkhodaii did not crash by Iraqi Mig-23 they crash by mistaken fire of Iranian navy over Mahshahr & two pilot after ejection when they was coming down by parachute killed by friendly gun fire.
Also the correct name of co-pilot is Mohammad Karami NOT Mohammad Karimi.

In the early morning two IRIAF F-4E's from Bushehr AFB piloted by Leader Maj. Sepid mooy and RIO Lt. Aazami (late POW) and wingman, Maj.Gahfoor Jeddi and RIO 1st Lt. Khalaaji, took off toward the south west to attack Iraqi ground forces. After the attack both jets descended to low level to avoid being intercepted by the SAM's.

After the jets crossed the Bahmanshir River and were flying back to city of Mahshahr using their afterburners, the wingman was hit by an SAM-2 in the nose area and activated the pilot's ejection seat. Maj. Ghafoor Jeddi's parachute did not deploy and the pilot was killed
(second pilot after RIO Lt. Col. Mohammad Reza Karam over Mahshahr).....

After the missile hit the pilot dived to a low altitude and flew at high speed about 20ft over the Arvand River (shat al arab). Their jet was hit by Birds. causing the pilot to ejected inadvertently, "but Reza controled the jet and landed safely at AFB......."

RIO Capt. Masoud Eghdaam - his parachute deployed after birdstrike and streamed along the spine of the aircraft.

After the missile strike the pilot of the F-4 dived to low altitude in an attempt to fly it back to Iran. Flying low over the Arvand River (shat-al-arab) the aircraft struck a flock of birds, Yassini was knocked unconscious. The RIO flew the aircraft back to the air base where Yassini regained control andl anded the plane. The aircraft was escorted by an F-14 that provided visual reports of the F-4 and assisted with instructions that allowed Capt. Masoud Eghdaam to fly back to Bushehr AFB where Yassini took over

The Phantom took off at 10:00 o'clock to attack Al-amarreh Bridge in city of Al-Amarreh. It is probable that the jet was intercepted by the Mig-25 but in the end was shot down with an SA-2 missile and exploded in the air

On 18 oct. 1991 the iraqi Goverment returned the remains of Maj. Darioush Nadimi back to Iran. Maj. Nadimi had been a very good Footballer and had played professionally.

Flew a Combat Air Patrol over Kurdistan to CAP along the Iran-iraq border. Intercepted by a formation of 4 IrAF Mirage F-1 EQ's. This happened to fast and suddenly Maj. Yassini believed that the Iraqi Mirages were flying in close formation with the F-4 in an attempt to force the aircraft down and land in Iraq.
Maj. Yassini dropped his fuel tanks and accelerated using afterburners but seconds later the jet was hit with an single Magic missile fired from the wingman's jet
Major Yassini and his WSO were forced to bail out over Iranian side of Kurdisatn province and were rescued by Iranian helo

they were found by US troops at Tallil AFB in 1991

This jet was flown to Iraq during the war between two countries.
Later it was bombed and destroyed.

10th July 1983 Iranian defectors flew an F-4E to Turkey

In 1984 an F-4E was flown to Saudi Arabia

In August 1986 at least three Iranian F-4s were flown out of the country

On 2nd September an Iranian F-14 along with two F-4s defected to Iraq.

The body of the hero was immortalized in the Persian Gulf to be Sindhi forever being Iranian these.
	Today's Hero: War Hero Darioush Nadimi Gen. Darius pilot Nadimi Instructor pilot with the pilot martyr Darius Nadimi Javed Ali Rostamian acting on 25 October 1359 with the intention of beating Paul Emareh ninth prey base in Bandar Abbas, which unfortunately came flying defense were hit. Darius body remains in 1370 was returned to the homeland, but never known the fate of AR was found. In loving memory and happy soul
