Chinese
media has confusing reports about crashes involving J-7 aircraft in Hainan
Province. One reports gives a J-7 crashing with both pilots ejecting but nine on
the ground killed. Another source gives the two pilots being killed in the
crash. Is it possible that there were two separate incidents or a collision -

HONG KONG —
A Chinese fighter jet crashed in southern Fujian Province on Monday,
killing at least one person, a second crash of a Chinese military
plane this month, local media reported Wednesday.
The Apple Daily said a Jian-7E fighter aircraft crashed near a
copper and aluminum molding factory along the highway near Fuzhou,
the capital city of the province. No one at the factory was injured
as most of workers were out for lunch at that time, but a passerby
on a motorcycle was killed in the explosion triggered by the crash.
