Ilia Stoyanov
was born on July 22, 1948 in the
region of Plovdiv, Bulgaria and graduated from the Bulgarian Military
Aviation School in Dolna Mitropolia in 1971.
On 16th September 1986, as a result of Spatial disorientation, his plane crashed in the district of Stara Zagora and he was killed.
