BAIL-OUT - BALE-OUT
This section of the website is dedicated to those aircrew who did not use ejection seats to egress from their aircraft. They used conventional bail outs using parachute and ripcord. Most were successful, for some the outcome was fatal. The performance dynamics of their aircraft made successful escape without mechanical assistance less certain. Assisted escape systems were needed to give the maximum chance of survival.

| FEEDBACK |
I
find out on your site data about Danilo Grbic, brother of my father. Date of his
ejection from hurricane is authentic, but he was not just wounded, unfortunately
April 7th, 1941 is date of his dead. My father is still alive, he is
in age of 84, and he gave me a picture of his brother Danilo. I'm sending you
the photo to put in empty space of your site |
