Air Force Maj. Andy Roake, a spokesman for Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, said the crash of the T-6 Texan trainer II, a small propeller plane, occurred south of the city shortly after 4:30 p.m. local time. The pilot and co-pilot both suffered cuts and bruises, and one of the men broke an ankle. No one on the ground was injured. The single-engine plane was assigned to the 177th Flying Training Squadron from the base, Roake said.
