  Both aircraft crashed into the Mediterranean Sea  about 30 kilometres from Perpignan (Pyrénées-Orientales), southwest France while returning to the aircraft carrier after a test flight One of the pilots was from the Centre d'essais en vol (CEV-DGA), the other from CEPA (Centre d'expérimentations pratiques de l'aéronavale) and not the 12F
FEEDBACK The flight recorder (called ESPAR on the Rafale) of the M25 was recovered Saturday 24th, at a depth of around 700 m (2300ft).
