20th October 2005	USAF	F-22A	03-4045 FF	27th FS 1st FW Hill Air Force Base	Sucked in metal pin causing severe engine damage during maintenance	No injuries		ACES II
10th April 2006	USAF	F-22A	03-4041 FF	27th FS Langley AFB, Virginia	The canopy was stuck in the down position and locked. The pilot was trapped in the cockpit for 5 hours It had to be removed by using chainsaws	No injuries		ACES II

Crashed in the Mojave desert of Southern California 35 miles northeast of Edwards Air Force Base	Lockheed Martin test pilot David Cooley killed		ACES II
